Alright 3 hours to go. I am ready. Lets start this sh*t.
I'm going to try to watch it all, even though i'm dead tired and have to go to work.

Scotnadian may join us Apollo and Emma Jean? They've got it easy this slam.
Bev and Tomthoms should have no excuses (except darn work).

Who confused Sousa and Souza? I never noticed. We've been talking about Sousa the whole time anyway so it means little.

Edit: Oh I see it was just the H2H.

Did you notice that Bev had got it wrong at the time, because I didn't, despite having checked Sousa out? Rolling Eyes

Hi everyone, the name is sousa.

These early matches are good for me in the US but the late ones are killers when you have to work the next day.  Gotta leave work and run home (takes and hour) and watch Andy's match.

Andy, good luck in your match today, come out like you came out in your match Tuesday.  Come full of focus and ready to let your racquet do the talking.  May the force be with you Andy, all your fans are....

No I didn't notice at all. But we've been talking about Sousa anyway, bar the little bit on Souza's arithmetic skills. Smile

Hopefully the heat will focus Andy's mind, because Sousa might cope better with it since Portugal often sees temps around 40C in the summer months.  Even Miami doesn't get that high, although it does have the humidity the S-E of Oz doesn't have.

Maybe I was too busy focussing on that phenomonal fact to notice anything else!  Very useful for a tennis player ...

I can't watch tonight, as much as I'd love to. I tell you what, I am becoming a lightweight lol. Coming in to day four and I'm already knackered lol.

I've lost the plot completely re Sousa. With a bit of luck he will know who he is and Andy will work out what to do with him pretty quickly, I have a feeling he will.

Ironically I read somewhere that after Thursday it is supposed to cool down a bit over there. It will still be hot, but not extreme. Andy just needs to focus and get the job done quickly. I still think he'll be fine.

All the best to Andy and happy viewing to those of you who will be watching. Oh, and Eurosport mucks around and ruins my recording I will be very annoyed!

Those who are not going to be here to support Andy tonight will go to MW Hall of Shame.

(On a side note', I am posting from my Kobo to try it out. pretty good so far)

O.D.ing on chocolate, wine and beer -- not to mention that unpredictable Waikato weather and her nearness to Hamilton -- has finally got the best of her! The sooner she gets shipped out to Melbourne the better!

Hi Tom! wave

lol  Hope Bev gets to Melbourne Park in time to see Andy, although I understand it could be pretty tight.  I know she was hoping for a later match.

If anyone wants a match to watch whilst waiting for Andy check out Berankis against Mayer:

http://www.viplivesports.eu/tennis/124465/1/f.-mayer---berankis-(court-6)-live-stream-online.html

Berankis is a real promising player. Only 22, was ranked in the top 100 at 20 but injuries screwed him over. Would definitely have burst on to the big scene by now otherwise. I'm confident he'll be the *next* young player to break on to the scene in 2013.

Berankis has just gone two sets up.

Winner faces Andy or Sousa in the next round.
