Another match I doubt very much I'll be awake for - although, if the other night is anything to go by.......
It's worked out all right for Andy to play in the day so far, but really, is it too much to ask that he get one little night match? Please? Fed's had one, Djok's had one, Ferrer has had one for goodness sake!
I wonder, and this is probably stupid, but could Andy have any say in when he plays? Could he have asked for day matches so far? I'd live with it if it is Andy's request or if it isn't doing him any harm. He seems fine with it so far, and the temperatures have apparently cooled somewhat since things got silly on Thursday, so he may well be fine in the day without it taking too much out of him.
I'm just having a hissy fit because I haven't been able to watch Andy whilst having my breakfast yet. The comms fawning over Fed whilst I'm eating is gross, enough to make a girl part with her porridge in very dramatic fashion!

Good timing for us given that it's Friday and the match will come just in time approximately at 10pm or so I hope.

I fear that Murray will not be given night slots in early rounds until he becomes no2 seed I pray every day that Federer will be beaten and then Murray will get the prime slot. I'm sure that Lendl would do something about this seeming unfairness if he were able to Meanwhile it's Radio 5 live for me at 3 am I'll sleep when Andy wins the tournament or is defeated, hopefully not tonight.

it was inevitable tomic would have the night match on RLE and it may well be that Andy said he'd prefer to play RLE during day than Hisense at night so he has more match practice on RLE. Assuming he gets through there must be a good chance he'll have the night match when playing Monfils or Simon I'd have thought (unless Tomic beats Fed of course!). I don't think smugfed has had one day match yet has he?? Given that it is supposed to be much cooler tomorrow I don't think it hurts Andy so long as he gets some night practice reasonably soon even if it's a nuisance for those of us who like our sleep in the UK

We don't need Andy to play the night matches yet. The sooner he gets off court the better.

I think there are pros & cons to either playing night or day matches. What is critical ..i think...aside from winning of course....is getting off the court as quickly as possible ...

Just because Bevc is not here doesn't mean we can't continue with her Holy work as in her H2H before each match. And so, in light of that, I thought I should create one. In fact, I've created two mostly for my own amusment. I hope you like them both.

No problem. I did it for fun. I shall now leave all this up to you. If only Aileen would do the same.
