Utter twaddle from this lot again. Rusedski talks sense, but VW is hopeless. It almost sounded like she was taking some credit for our hero's success last year because her ridiculous comments at the FO stirred him into action somehow. You'd think a fellow GS winner would have more respect. She's a disgrace. |

She's part of that nonsense old guard who fail to realise their opinions are redundant much like their existence as a whole. Glad Andy doesn't take **** from her or Lloyd.
But as I've said before Eurosport have rubbish commentary, during the match and after too. I roll my eyes every time a commentator (normally Frew) attempts to compare their experience from 20 years ago with Andy's current game.
Roscoe & Jamie Murray's post-match chit chats were their only saving graces this week.

Andy playing well within himself again. Result never looked in doubt. Chardy will be alot tougher though.... Andy will have to play much better.....mind you feels like same pattern of progression as US Open...and we know what happened there... |

You may think VW's opinions are irrelevant but surely she's entitled to exist. I seem to remember she won Wimbledon in the fifties Do you also include Mr Lendll in your dismissal of the "Old Guard" or is he exempt? |

You must mean the 1850s!! Seriously, she won Wimbledon (her third GS) in 1977, the Queen's Silver Jubilee year. |
