Good for him. He shouldn't quit unless he's injured. He isn't Tipsy.  Selfishly, Andy needs the match practice, so I hope he hangs in for as long as he can and puts some pressure on Andy, forcing him to sharpen up a bit. I wonder how much retiresarevic bet on Almagro to win |

Sorry to see that the UK is blanketed in snow and grinding to a halt. Made Aussie news  I was supposed to be on a flight from Glasgow to Heathrow with an onward connection to Prague. Been cancelled twice now. The bonus is that I get to see the match live on TV! |

I should have added that when 'they' think a player is going to win a match, security move in to control autograph hunters. If you're the other player, you might notice it even though it's happening behind you. As you look at the screen for this court, they will move in on the bottom right hand side of the Melbourne sign. They moved in when they thought Verdasco was going to win, only to move away again when it went to a 5th set .  |
