Andy won't let Federer get away with making some of the errors he was making today against Tsonga. I'd also like Federer to bring the FSP he started with today into the semi and make it last. 42%! I didn't laugh, honest

Andy is consistently more aggressive now than when he last played Smugfed at the AO. He knows he isn't going to beat Federer by being passive, waiting for Federer to make mistakes. He knows he has to take him on. He did at the Olympics in a five set match. He did it in Shanghai. The WTF, I've decided, isn't relevant. Andy was shattered (if the smug one can use an 'excuse' then so can I) and that crowd were revolting. The WTF was indoors too.
It sounds to me as if Andy is doing everything he can to be ready for the conditions, and rightly so. I love the detail Andy, Lendl and the team have gone in to, practising on courts like RL, and also Andy mentioned he'll try to practice on Hisense under the lights. It all makes sense.
My prediction? Andy in four, although if he fancies three I won't argue.
