I feel oddly calm about this. I can't watch this one live so I will PVR and watch in the morning. So for me it's a bit like going in for surgery.. you go to sleep, you can't do anything about it, you wake up and it's all over. I'm trusting Andy to bring his best tools and be a surgeon on the court. Bring it Andy! And I have a message from him for anyone who is nervous :  Brilliant Scot!  |

PS no "inevitability" about Fed winning, people  Andy has a positive H2H against Fed. He knows how to beat him, just hasn't done it in a slam b4. Could be today but it doesn't take a Mystic Meg to foretell that it will most certainly happenThis is what's inevitable Fed's powers are waning, Andy's powers are growing. Nor do I buy the BS that Fed is a far superior player to Andy Fed's forehand, when firing yes of course, but in other areas no. OK he looks like an effing ballet dancer, so looks quite beautiful on court, but so what?  Andy. Just take it to him. |

Hope Andy's boys have good seats and are in fine singing mode. I wonder how the crowd will split between them? I'm hoping smugfed might be surprised by just how many fans Andy has down under.

Getting nervous now! Am pleased it's on early morning UK time so there's no waiting round all day for the match.
Read on twitter that it's windy there today - perhaps a good sign? Just hope that Andy plays to the best of his abilities and that it's a good match.
