Today's shot was not only around the net post but lower than the height of the net. So you have to hit it incredibly hard to maintain the height. Not to mention his speed at getting out so wide. Federer once hit a winner off a Roddick smash (you can see it on YT), and today's shot ranks with that for me.

What a result. At the start of the 2nd set I really thought that Murray was going to suffer another dissapointing loss! Absolutely fantastic result and so proud of Murray, he seems in such better shape than at the USO Final. Hope he can just finish the job on Sunday.

Before the US Open final 08, I bought a Hamlet cigar in anticipation of a Muzzah win. I still have it, on top of the chest of drawers in my bedroom.

Yep, I was following the scoreboard only at that point and it was looking like another disappointing loss until he turned on the style and Cilic tired!

That is a brilliant idea - not a smoker myself but cigars smell absolutely fantastic.
