What a great clip - he is just such a nice young lad. That match last year against Rafa was deservedly titled the best three set match - it had everything apart from the end result obviously. I can still remember watching every minute of it on an emotional roller coaster. I think if Andy is 100% fit that outcome may be a little bit different this year. I hope he avoids Thomas Berdych - I really can't believe what he did at Paris very unsporting - although he never broke any rules it was unsporting. Will be sitting with everything crossed this year and hoping that Andy can do - he is good enough to do it he has all the tools at his disposal to do it - just a pity he didn't have a "Braehead" crowd behind him to get him over that finishing line. Come on Andy best of luck - you can do it.

Id like to see Andy play Berdych at London. That was out of order what Berdych pulled in Paris and Andy will be in the mood to inflict swift revenge.

What happened in Paris was unforgiveable, Andy should have called the referee after having a look at the balls first. It is so easy to think I should have done this or that but at the time it is difficult, you would never think that your opponent would do that.
I agree I would want sweet revenge.
Andy will do well, as long as he keeps calm and gets on with what he has do Play-play excellent tennis and he can do that Good Luck Andy
The draw sould be coming out at any time now.

Oooh er,  hoping for your wish list Joe! I actually wouldn't mind Djoko instead of Rafa - he looks shaky with this shoulder injury at the mo, so I'd back Andy to take him out as well. However, this shoulder problem may not be bad enough to hinder him in the bigger events - he pulled out of the Cincy final with it but was well enough to win the USO, then withdrew from Shanghai and Paris with it. Miraculously, it wasn't a problem in that Slam.  |
