I knew this one would cause anxiety as soon as The draw was announced. How soon people forget that Andy has beaten Berdych twice this year, both of them on hard, and one of those was best of three, the other on the way to winning the USO, so if Andy comes out motivated and ready, which he will, he can do it.
Berdych, to my mind, is up and down like a tart's knickers. When he is good he's very good, but when he's bad, well, I'll say no more.
Did anyone notice Berdych didn't get out of his pram in Paris? He didn't even get nasty when he was arguing over a disputed call the other day - for once he had a point too. He walked away from the umpire when he was arguing. It was most unusual, and made him seem nicer. That's nothing to do with anything. You know me, I ramble lol.
My take on this one? Andy will have great support and will be up for the challenge. Andy, maybe in three, but could even be straight sets. I'd like straight sets. My nerves get too frazzled without my voice to yell at the TV in longer matches. Stupid throat!
Probably because he wanted to lose anyway.
