"There are so few opportunities out there when Federer's playing so well, and towards the end, he found his rhythm. It really was a masterclass. Tipsarevic played pretty well, but what can you do?"
What ********! ...... Tipsy...weakest player...didnt even play that well...terrible performance from him I thought.... Fed ..some nice touches around the net really can't judge his form based on that quality of opposition.

I guess I am the only happy person with the timings...perfect for me!!
I second that Zarfeen. My best seat is for the afternoon session. This will be my first live match and my wish was for Andy and Novak in the afternoon. I am never usually that lucky - so can't believe it has worked out like this.
Hope everyone enjoys the match tomorrow, live or recorded.

Not sure where all this rigged draw in feds favour talk comes from, it just does not compute with me, if not for injury, rafa would have been on federers side and tipsy wouldn't even be there. It might have even been Andy if natal had stayed fit all year, his absence is hardly smugfeds fault

Im not in the band who thinks the draw was rigged. I think Fed got lucky tho... there's a diff.

Third. Let's hope we can get the crowd going. Was quiet on Monday. Mind you, I was surrounded by families with young children. The kids are back at school now I think.

Still not sure that luck is a factor when discussing a tournament involving the top 8 players in the world. Look at it this way, if Andy has it tougher during the RR stage than federer, not only will he have an easier semi final than fed, he will have been tested more and better prepared, that's my take on it anyway

If my suspicions are correct Murray may play Wednesday and Thursday because not sure they are the same but Marray/Nielsen are scheduled for tomorrow as well as today so maybe they could play consecutive days.

I'm glad someone thinks the same as me. I thought Tipsy was terrible today. He didn't sound well, to be fair, in his pre-match interview, but even allowing for that he was poor.
As I said on another thread, I think we'll get a better idea of Federer's form when he is playing someone who is capable of beating him, because, based on this, and the fact that I think they said Tipsy has never beaten Federer, Tipsy isn't capable of it.

I wouldn't go as far as to say the draw is rigged. I just think Federer threatened to cry if they put him on the same side as Andy

In fact I am glad Murray is getting tested because he will then be able to find a rhythm and really pounce on his chances. And if we look at it statistically Federer's half isn't actually that easy. Ferrer and Del Potro are two of the most consistent guys this year and Del Potro beat and nearly beat R-Fed on two occasions this year. Despite Ferrer not getting as close to beating Federer as Del Potro had he has still given Federer a lot to think about when they are battling it out on the court.

Fed has 2 pigeons and a turkey. He can't complain. on the subject of this match. I think Andy will win a tight 2 setter

Tipsy the Turkey? I like it lol. Sounds like something my 4 year old nephew and nearly three year old niece would watch on TV LOL.

The timing is definitely a bit early for me. I would have liked the 2nd timeslot and probably it would have been better for Andy too, but I guess we will have to take whatever we have in front of us.
After these two tight matches, Andy will be slightly knackered so it's best that he'll be meeting Tsogna next. Tsogna should not have much left after the match against Berdych. I’d like him to take Berdych out if possible and he can actually but it’s sitting 50/50 with me right now.

that would be very odd surely? After all the B group singles players aren't playing tomorrow. Not sure why the dubs are though?
