Though it is not the primary topic of this thread, I would like to remind everybody of 2009 (?) with Davidenko winning for the very first time against Fed. I went mad, in a positive way of course. Why should Ferrer not be able to do the Davidenko? See you all then in an hour!

I know I'm paranoid. But am I paranoid enough?

Envious of you all. I'll catch 45 mins of this at most. Wish I was like Nigel and self-employed.
I'd be close to financial ruin and my family would be huddling round a candle for warmth, but at least I could watch the tennis.
I have £1.47 in the bank. We huddle around a candle often.

Sounds like a plan.

Huddling around a candle is a rite of passage.
I thought everyone did that at some point in their life.

If you are going by their recent encounters, then I’d say Andy’s win over Berdych is more prominent than Nole’s over Tipsy. Tsonga is erratic and very rarely uses his brain to win a match. Not that Berdych uses his brain a whole lot, but he always brings his best against Andy and has caused a lot of trouble in the past. Tsonga, for Nole, is a thing in the past.
And I don’t think you can possibly say that Andy’s form has dipped since USO because And’s performance during the Open wasn’t top notch. He had his up and downs in each round and in the final, he had trouble converting set points. And even after the 2 sets lead, he went on to lose the next two sets. So I say Andy’s performance is unpredictable at the moment.

Andy really needs to win this, and if he doesn't he desperately needs to win at least a set otherwise his place in the competition will be relying on Tsonga winning.
