I see. So if we look at Sampras' H2H against say Ivanisevic or Todd Martin, he never won a set 6-2 except in GS finals? Or would you like to say that on those occasions that he did win a set 6-2 against them, they self-destructed even though he wasn't trying on their serve?

In one of the Wimbledon finals, after losing the first two sets in TBs, Goran completely fell apart in the 3rd and I think he lost either 6/1 or 6/2. It had been that way between the two but then again you are simply being selective.

To be precise, you are not getting this at all and just arguing for the sake of it. May be you need to read his book. You will see he talks about his strategy against different players and this was part of it. Anyway, it seems pointless right now so I’ll leave you all amused.

Can't comment too much on Sampras...never followed him much...I followed Agassi more so.... however in terms of mental ability in the modern game ..nobody impresses me more than Djoko. The guy is never beaten until the last point. As competitive as Murray is ...and as much as he has improved in this area...Nole is a level up on him. He won the 2nd set against Berdych facing ..i think 6-1 down TB...and you just knew he could come back and win... and he duly did. I don't think Andy would have... thats a critical diff at the moment.

I've watched the 1st set last night and now savouring my moments with Andy before I move on to the 2nd and 3rd set. lol. Andy played so well. Always beautiful to watch a very pumped up and confident Andy taking charge of matters. Wish he had got it together mentally in the 3rd set when he broke Nole back to make it 4 all. Oh well, as I said before, as long as he has the last laugh...
