Wow! Lucky you! Pity the tickets are sold out though.
I would love it if there was a men's tournament in Belgium. Why have we got two women's tournaments but not one men's one  ranting

Wow great pictures mate, and sounds like a fantastic day. Must have been great to meet him and have a photo. Can I ask... but are you really small or is Andy just a GIANT in real life? Smile

Very jeleous of you going to the Aussie Open... I must try and go myself in the next few years... it would be a great holiday.

I'm guessing Andy is quite a giant compared to "normal" people.  dontknow Every photo i've seen of him with a fan etc, he's been so much taller. And that hair of his... makes him at least 2 meters taller....

Yes, i finally admit, it's getting out of control.  nervous  afro

Indeedy! Thank you so much! You're posts really light up the match, especially as we were all sat in the dark trying desperately to find the scores Wink

Lol yeah he is a lot bigger than me, but I think that photo is slightly misleading, I'm 1.70m, not sure how tall Murray is. But I'm taller than Rochus who is 1.65m.

Parents decided to move here in 1993 when I was 7. The life is good over here but I get a lot of stick for being English from the NZers lol. Its all worth it when we win the rugby world cup and stuff like that lol. That one was hard to take for the NZers as rugby is religion here.

roflmao  =D> Another rugby fanatic.. we've got a few round here.. one of the most obvious being a very dedicated Welsh Rugby fan. Wink Quite fierce too.  Whistle
Yep, i've heard that the NZers (i'll copy your short hand Smile ) take their rubgy pretty seriously - but thanks god England actually won it for once.
How's cricket taken in NZ? Were they annoyed at Australia loosing out to England this summer? notworthy Or do they have their own frequent battles with Australia? Very Happy
And by the way - sorry for this flood of questions. Smile Every thread seems to be nagging you with NZ information.

And concering the photos... is Rochus really 1.65?  shocking That's like me, and im not exactly tall round here!

Yes Rochus is tiny, in the  Tournament program it says he is 1.65 and he is shorter than me so that sounds about right.

I'm not really a rugby fanatic, I follow England and like to support Australia and South Africa when they play NZ lol, but I wouldn't call myself a fanatic, certainly not like NZers are.  My main sport would be football, or soccer depending on where you are from (Arsenal fan) followed by cricket and tennis equally.

Cricket is pretty big in NZ, 2nd to rugby but it has pretty big following in summer as its the only summer sport NZ play to any real note. The Ashes was great as we got full live coverage of it here (we usually don't get England matches here unless they are playing NZ) and there was so much interest in it here that it was even shown instead of a couple of NZ matches that clashed with it at times (well they put NZ on another channel that not many people have) I think most people here were pleased we won as the hate Australia more than England lol (in a sporting sense of course). Well they sort of wanted Australia to lose but not England to win if that makes any sense, but most people wanted Australia to lose.

lol Very Happy So the English are not the only ones who dislike those super talented Aussies? yahooo
Coverage in England was great to!  goodjob Suprisingly, i think this summer really got people interested in Cricket - some say it became more popular than football.. tennis of course not even being mentioned as usual.  ranting
Good to see yet another football fan!! Smile Any favorites from the Premiership?

I've been an Arsenal fan my whole life (depsite coming from 2 life-long spurs supporting parents), and its good we get most of their matches over here, league games anyway, its rare to get one of our CL games, and I'm currently following the Carling Cup semi on text commentary. Looks like the game has stopped for the moment, the lights went out at Wigan lol.
Who do most of you support around here?
