It's good that Andy is getting the chance to brush up again on playing a lefty, just in case he comes up against Nadal at some point!  Whistle

According to Press reports today Millot says he is bit of footballer like Andy and maybe he would have a better chance of beating him in his football boots!  Love his sense of humour.

I'd back Andy at keepie-uppie.    He's pretty good.

great news that Andy has a night match given it's forecast to be baking again tomorrow.  I'm sure the night match on RLA against a qualifier signals his new status as twice slam winner and reigning Wimbledon champion.  I see on the AO website that Andy is being supported by the whole of Alice Springs under some competition designed to get Austalians involved in the tournament.

My suggested comedy option would be that they both decide they'd prefer to watch an Arsenal match as I think they're both Arsenal fans

Oh yes Ruthie - a night match is fantastic especially considering the weather.    I thought Rafa would get it as he is playing an Aussie again.   On Sky at 9.30a.m. but I'll be in my seat earlier just in case.

Schedule for tomorrow.  Andy got night match on RLA.....maybe about 10am our time.

I think you're a bit out with the timing here Angie.  His match follows a ladies' singles which starts 7pm Melbourne time and which I don't think should last too long, so I'm going for around 8:30pm for him, and so approx. 7:30am for us.  Is that better? Smile

There's something very strange about this slam.  confused I haven't heard even one person complain the draw was a fix!  Whistle

Just read this. Made me smile.

I like to think that now he has won two slams the organisers of these big events are taking our man a bit more seriously and giving him some of the respect that is long overdue. They don't want one of their stars going out too early.

He will start at 9am
But that would be 8pm Melbourne time ... and the ladies's singles starts at 7pm anyway, so if daytime matches over-run ... confused

8.30p.m. Melbourne is 9.30 a.m. here.
poster_oops Thanks for the corrections.  Got the time zone thing muddled - again!

Apologies @Angie. hug

Will go for 10:00am as the estimated time.

It's very important, Aileen, because it means an extra couple of hours in bed.

match for me will start at 4 a.m. I think.....  that means early to bed and up at 4, then struggle at work.  Seeing it's on Laver, they should show it on TV.  Glad he is playing at night.

Have another great match Andy.  Stay focused, Millot will come out swinging!!
