those of you who watched the Eurosport highights this afternoon can you tell me whether they showed the whole match?   I put it to record before I left home and can't record this evening's repeat so fingers crossed it was the whole thing as didn't catch all of it on line and found it harder to follow than on tv.

Been out most of today but I have watched the match. I thought Andy played really well considering he has not had a lot of games previous to the AO. First two sets were brilliant and he was never under any pressure in the third set. I was amazed how most of the players managed to play in such heat it must have been really hard. Melbourne weather is notorious you can have four seasons in one day. Hope it cools down a bit and the players don't have to cope with such hot weather.
Don't worry, LB - looking at the local forecast, the temperature is going to plummet over Friday night into Saturday thereby bringing the heatwave to an end.  Thursday though will be as hot as today, so I hope Andy can dispose of Millot as quickly and efficiently as he did Soeda.

Who are the 3 players?

Robredo, Istomin and Falla. The rest have no chance.

Oh my!  So now you're a tennis expert as well, either that or this is a deliberate wind-up.

Thanks for the comments from those who actually saw the match  The 5live extra comms nearly drove me wild by talking about anything but Andy playing! It's just like being blind Its the score I'm after
Now for the second round no time for dreaming yet

I quite enjoy listening to the tennis on the radio, and often it's my only option, but I too struggle to keep up with the score.  I find that having the LiveScores open on my phone a great help to keep track of scores, and refer to it more often than I really should! *goldfish brain*  lol

Listening to tennis commentaries on the radio drives me nuts, although if I had no choice I'd probably do it.  After all, back in dinosaur time there frequently wasn't an option, and only Slams were broadcast anyway.
