The info in Giraldo's wikipedia is very scanty, and the only thing it says about his playing style is - and I quote it verbatim - "that "he's known for consistently taking huge cuts at the ball, flattening out every forehand and backhand possible when he is able to get a firm grip on the ball, although such a style of play has evidently generated a higher chance of unforced errors."  So ... Shrug  However Andy and Lendl will have had a good chance to watch him play and work out a few tactics, but Andy playing someone he hasn't played before, especially on clay, is always an interesting experience! nervous

I can sympathise - I'm trying to get used to my new laptop which I only got today, and I had to get it because the new one I bought two months ago packed in completely on Monday!!  Disgraceful!

Deb, you have my sympathy, I have had my IPad since before Xmas and typing on it can sometimes be a bit of a nightmare, to coin a right Scottish word, "everything goes skiting across the screen". Wouldn't be the first time I have sent an e-mail and one of my friends has thought I was drunk cos I had typed utter rubbish!!!!

NB. As they have never met before I don't think a H2H is really necessary but if Bev particularly wants to get a graphic up anyway then go ahead. Wink

naughty  You should never deny the ladies a look at Andy.  We need the weather to warm up a bit more though and that shirt to come off Little tongue man

Giraldo has played 14 matches on clay so far this year, 4 of which were for a Challenger tournament and 9 of which is won (3 being in the challenger).

His best result is detailed below, under the H2H Whistle

There is a Logitech keyboard for the iPad that is wireless and works like a charm.

Now to Andy's match tomorrow, always a worry when you havent played some one but hopeful Lendl found some video for Andy to watch.
Good luck Andy. Giraldo wil come out swinging Andy so be ready to have a fight on your hands. Bro g your A game and let your racquet do the talking.

Very concerned for Andy. He many times has come unstuck against lesser mortals, particularly when he meets them for the FIRST time. It's going to be really hard as this encounter is on clay.

Prove my worries irrelevant, Andy. Go get the b*****d!
