Beyond Oz

Reply

Just looking at the calendar and after the Oz Open (we know he's doing Adelaide, Auckland before that) there is:

--30th Jan--
Croatia (Indoor Hard)
Florida (Outdoor Hard)
Chile (Outdoor Clay)

--13th Feb--
France (Indoor Hard)
California (Indoor Hard)
Argentina (Outdoor Clay)

etc etc!

Wonder where he'll be (assuming he's invited/not injured/etc)?

It's a long stretch til the French at the end of May. I've never really followed the ATP tour so closely before, does anybody know what the players tend to do (stick to Europe, stick to hardcourt, fly all over the place) ??

He's definitely playing San Jose (California), 13th Feb. Smile

After that I think maybe he is playing some others in America before the Masters at Miami and Indian Wells.

Some stay mostly in Europe, some fly out an do a 'tour' of America i think.....

Could really do with a schedule from Andy!  Tim's got his sorted out for the year.  I know Mark took that as a suggestion when he was doing his 'secret' talks before Christmas.

After San Jose I think he's playing Memphis 20-26  Feb and then Las Vegas 27th Feb-2nd March

Don't worry Bev I just got off my lazy behind and looked at Tim's website.

May I ask where you get the info JohnW/Yogi? Tournament websites? News sites?

I have list for the whole year but can't remember where it came from as I've had it for a while now and not sure how accurate it is, but its probably not too far off the mark

Same list... it has been posted on various websites...

San Jose is definite, it was in the news a while ago, and he's on the players list: http://www.sapopentennis.com/players/index.asp

The others not so certain, obviously he will be playing the Masters though, and it makes sense that he plays others in the USA in between...

Thanks guys. I'm intrigued by this "list". If you remember a link for it, please drop it in this thread or pm me or summink. Thanks again.

Also, does anyone know of an easy way of finding out what a player did precisely 12 months ago? Thus how many points they have to defend?

Ta!

There's a full Calendar of the year's tournaments on the main ATP website  HERE

I usually print one off at the beginning of every year, just to keep tags.

Thank goodness he's stopped playing Challengers. They were hard to follow. Smile
