Thanks for that info Aileen! I was getting mixed up with my times- i had it in my head that they were 5 hours behind but thats eastern time isnt it? Most prob lots of andys matches will be on later at night for us then.
Also Miami will be 4 hours behind GMT (apart from the final) because we don't go on to BST until 31 March.

No Tokyo 2011 final.

exactamondo... winning convincingly against nadal at an ATP 500 isnt gonna convince any of the non murray fans that Nadal doesnt have Andy in his pocket in the major comps.....which his record thus far suggests he does.

The H2H is really close on hard court (2-2 in hc majors). Besides, why would he need to convince some random people that he is capable of beating Nadal?

You are speaking in terms of 2011. A lot has happened since then. The future may hold something different and will hold something different. Nadal will have a hard time dealing with Andy on hard courts for one. Andy was a set up against Nadal at Wimbledon in 2011. You can't say he's isn't closing in on Nadal on that surface either. So who holds whom in whose pocket at this point is irrelevant. This is a new year with new possibilities given the twists and turns in the past. And Andy is no Ferrer. Not that though I believe you are trying to undermine this H2H, but 11-5 and 2 all on hard court Majors is nothing to sneeze at.

Shhh!!  I don't even want to think about that, but admit to being nervous because, although Andy's a different player now, he's going to be match rusty whereas everyone else isn't.  I can only have faith in what he and Lendl have been doing to get over this hurdle.

I don't know flowerpower but it's hard to believe that the AO final was only five weeks ago!
