Here's one of his matches from the start of 2013. He goes huge on his forehand but makes some insane errors.

Thanks Craig. Smile  I'm sure Andy will have been watching him play and taking it all in.  Lendl too.

Rust could be a factor as this guy will give Andy absolutely no rhythm and if Donskoy gets hot it could turn out to be a nightmare. I expect Andy to get through in 2 though although Klizan in the next round will be a real test.

I know I seem to be in a minority, but I am not optimistic about this tournament, and we know what Andy's like if he can't find his rhythm.  I guess we might just have to depend on Donskoy going for everything regardless and making a lot of UEs.  The only good thing is that Andy is playing his doubles first.

I don't think that's a televised court unfortunately.

I know virtually nothing about Donskoy, so I'm not going to worry about it. The way I look at it is that Ito isn't Andy.

I've read the thread and my brain has gone, so I'm still confused as to when Andy is playing. I'll figure it out Whistle. If he's playing Dubs first that should blow away any cobwebs, but you never know, he could very well come out for the singles and be up for it from the start. I'm not bothered by his not playing a tournanent before IW. He has for the last couple of years and it hasn't helped him, so we'll see if taking the time out to work with Lendl et al beforehand makes a difference.

I'm still thinking Andy in three, but only because of Andy possibly being a bit rusty. That said, it wouldn't surprise me at all if he wins in two. I'll contemplate him losing when he does. The power of positive thinking!
