Should be a good match Murray managed to see off the young Ukrainian in 4 in Melbourne last year! He is a shot maker and gave Novak a tough match at the Open last summer!
If Dogopolov plays his A game then Murray could be in a lot of trouble, but if he doesnt then Murray should be too solid, and take this in 2 tight sets or possibly 3 sets.

So you are saying Andy will only be too solid if Dolgo deson't bring his A game. But if he does, then Andy should be in a lot of trouble even if
he
brings his own A game. Underlying statement or in other words, Dolgo's A game is better than Andy's. Now where have I heard that before?

H2H - I can remember last year's meeting but don't remember at all their first meeting, probably because we moved out to NZ and I don't often get to see Davis Cup tennis.
Anyway, I don't think Andy will let this one slip from his grasp. Might take 3 sets but he can do it
Positive vibes coming your way

Haha I was telling my husband while watching the first semi with dog that he could easily play on the women's tour. He is quite feminine.

Might have to change my point of view about the sex change if you say he,s had a semi before.

Hahaha,
Yeah is it female to male or male to female I wonder.
The pony tail he sports adds to the confusion also. A nice crew cut would help I think. A bit more macho.
Andy will not lose this one, hes more used to Dog now having played him at the AO before. I'd be surprised if he dropped a set although it should be tight for a while.

Finally... a match Emma and I can watch at a semi-decent time (11:00pm.. I can handle that).
I'm not saying a word. Don't want to jinx.
Just keep doing what you're doing, Andy.

Thanks Bevc for the H2H. I remember Melbourne quite well. Andy played the first two sets very well but let it a bit loose in the 3rd that caused him the 3rd set. Andy then, of course, took charge of the 4th set and left no doubt as to who was the better player in that match.
Dolgo is definitely dangerous. A lot find him very interesting because of his unorthodox approach in general. He's quite unpredictable and incosistent. I personally don't think he'll go too far with his type of game and wildness and will always remain as a dangerous floater in GSs and in general.
Andy has beaten him in a big stage so this shouldn't be a problem. Besides, Andy plays very well in finals minus GS finals. That will change too.
Andy should be ready for this final.
