omg I remember this guy didn't he play Andy at the first or second round at RG this year? He has a huge FH if I remember correctly. Andy will have to be well prepared.
First round. Andy won 6-1, 7-5, 6-0. As far as I can recall the match, Andy had a worrying 2nd set blip when he seemed to be distracted by the noisy crowd which he later half-jokingly claimed were a little the worse for drink. And yes, Ito does have a ferocious FH when he's allowed to use it.
Hoping Andy gets to Brisbane ASAP so he can shake off the jet lag well in advance!
Or at least the worst of it. A repeat of the Tipsy match we don't want. Also if he comes up against Hewitt, especially in front of a home crowd, he's going to need all his wits about him. First, though, we have to wait and see who the Qualifier is and whether it's somebody who's likely to beat Ito.
It would be interesting to see Andy play against Raonic. That guy is a beast.
At least it wouldn't happen until the final.
