Andy won his QF against Istomin in straight sets (6-4,7-6[3]). He is now set to play Nishikori in the SFs, who defeated Dolgopolov earlier today, with the exact same scoreline.
H2H is 2-0 for Andy btw, both straight-set-victories on hard court (Shanghai SF 2011; AO QF 2012).

Both very straightforward wins as well. I think this will be somewhat tougher though.
Nishikori is a similar player to Murray, and can be quite unpredictable. Murray will have to be on his game.

Nishikori had a very good late season in 2012, he has won two ATP titles, but I'm sure Andy and his team are well aware if this. Also his playing style will be well known by Andy's team, unlike his last two apponents whom he had never played before!

Thanks for that - thought it might be one of those "two Andy matches in one wake" situations i've been reading about - but probably not.
