Build up zagreb

How do you think Andy will do in Zagreb,

He's been awarded a wildcard and iv'e noticed he seems to do better when given a wildcard rather than a direct entry to a tournament.

I predict QF

Well you never know where he might get.  There are no top twenty players in the draw so he might even make the semis or even better the final!!

There are some top twenty players: Ivan Ljubicic - 8, David Ferrer - 14, Radek Stepanek - 20 and just outside Mario Ancic - 21, I think it will be tough for Andy if he doesn't get a good draw, but I'll keep my fingers crossed anyway.  crossfingers

Yep, I'm just hoping Andy resumes his habit of winning first-round matches.
Anything more is a bonus. Anything less is not a crisis. Good luck dude!

yeah well said.if hes a wild card then that means that even just winning one match is more than hes paid or expected to do so to speak.

Hope he's gonna do well. It should be interesting... I think he'll be back on form.

Why is it a wildcard btw?

ill prob get numbers all wrong here but its just an example.a tournament has, say, 32 places in the first round.players will apply and the top, say, 26 in the rankings will automatically be awarded a place.then there are qualifying rounds which might give another 3 players and finally the tournament organisers will give three places to any players of their choice.these will normally given to big name players who have slipped down the rankings, local players who can get a home crowd or up and coming players who can get a bit of publicity (and also the organisers hope they will come back when theyr are established stars and get them even more money and publicity then).hope thats clear
