Oooh our very own online undercover agent. Love it! shades
Andy Murray Fan Forum is very polite about this match, although I did read a few realistic, but not negative, posts, but it's another moderated site.

Actually we are all wrong regarding Andy in cincinatti. Clearly Kim has put her foot down and told Andy point blank no way is he bringing that ugly vase home. He chose  Berdych to beat him as a thank you for doing the Queen's charity match and to avoid giving Fed or Rafa any mistaken notion that they could beat him.   Whistle
roflmao Do you know , I thought the same thing last night , it really is an ugly trophy !!!

My concern is that you go onto google twitter and Facebook and that appalling write up title by boogers leaps off the page.  We are supposed to be Andys fan site.  Yes people are entitled to their opinions on here but out there for all to see ?

The Andy Murray fan forum bores me to tears.        This is the best forum imo.    We have a lot of great characters on this site.        We all have different opinions  some more negative than others  Very Happy     that's what makes it different from any other Murray fan site.   Anyway from what I've seen,  most Murray fans  are pretty sane and quite nice people.

Spot on about AMFF.  I joined it four years ago when it was still part of am.com but didn't stay very long.  I'd never been on a forum before but this one made me feel like a school kid, having your posts moderated, having to ask permission to do things like posting an article - and as for lining up to say thank you to people for their posts ...yuk

Fortunately I found MW soon after.

I'm so glad I found MW too.    I joined AMFF once and I swore   ( unintentionally of course  ) and I got a huge long complaint essay from the mod   Whistle   and that was the end of that.     lol      Every post  I saw in that  Berdych - Murray  match thread was   -  oh dear,  oh dear  oh dear,  oh what a pity, oh Andrew dear.    congrats to Berdych he looked unbeatable tonight.    doh  Rolling Eyes

I bloomin love this MW forum and every member on it.

Blimey, we've gone from last night to almost a love-in tonight!

Now we need to send some of the 'love', even through gritted teeth, to Berdych.

That's my thinking too! lol

I was away, so missed the match, but it seems that Andy could have played better, but he knows he could have played better, and Berdych is a very good player.   It's disappointing that Andy couldn't capitalise on an early Djokovic loss, or keep his #2 ranking, but it's hardly the end of the world.

A bit of extra time in New York will do him good.  He's already tweeted a photo from an empty Arthur Ashe court.  I don't know if he's getting in some early practice, or just having a moment like he's done at Wimbledon, to get him in the zone.

Being the defending champion means he'll have extra attention and extra duties this year too.

If he wins the USO again then it won't matter if he is ranked #3. He will have 2 GS titles this year, a very good years work!
