Head to head is all square at 2-2 and looks like this match is scheduled to play Wednesday (not on Tuesday's schedule)

Will add poll later and more stats that I can find.

Thanks again, Bev.  I love the pic of Andy - looks like some determined thinking is going on there.

I have to say that Nalbandian's wikipedia entry since May 2009 reads like something straight out of an A&E department!  This year alone he missed all the tournaments from Indian Wells to the FO, due to a torn hamstring and a hernia.  He made his return at Queens and Wimbledon and reached R3 in both tournaments.

Then (from the Bleacher Report) "The Argentine lost to James Blake in his opener in the Legg Mason and then to Wawrinka in Montreal with a very undercooked performance. But Nalbandian can produce wins from thin air on the right day, so it will be a good test for Murray."

I didn't see his match against Nishikori, but I've watched Nishikori play, and he's a pretty solid and determined young player, which would suggest that Nalbandian could have upped his level since Montreal.
So, Andy, remember those last two winning matches! cmon yeah

Didn't see the match either as it had just finished as I came in but from what the comms were saying neither had played very well. They then showed highlights from Andy's 2008 victory over Nole.  Made me feel very nostalgic.    Refind those winning ways Andy and remember you CAN beat Nole and everyone else.   cmonandy
Oh and see Jo-W is playing today so we'll see the state of his arm.

It's probably Andy's match against David in 2005 that most people will remember as the match that put Andy in the tennis spotlight - so very near but fitness prevailled.

According to the practice schedule, Andy is hitting with P Andujar on court 13 between 1-2 pm, local time.

Been reading your posts and I feel very strange about Andy's form;mind set.  (i am also one of those psychology people) perhaps need a rest from Murraymania as I just do not know what to expect,think or predict. I was gob smacked in the last match against Anderson.  Anyway I am away again until Sunday perhaps I will see him in the final!  Hope you are keeping warm in NZ Bev.

First serve at 59%!
This is better than last years end of year 54% which simply wasn't good enough.
Return game and break point opportunities are right up there.
He still needs to get a bit over 60% (say 63%) and then we're really talking!!

Have my British style central heating keeping me warm Very Happy  Luckily, we are not subject to the snow they are experiencing in the south island and lower north island.  The flutter of snow we got Monday melted as it hit the ground near enough.  Not as cold this morning - 2 degrees as against -1 yesterday morning.  Will warm up when the sun comes out.
