...If you win it, you could be in the top 50, as there's 80 ENTRY points at stake!

It'd be good for him to finish his great year winning this Challenger

That seems a heck of a lot of points for a Challenger!!
I suppose I'm comparing it with the race, even a Slam is only 200 points. Have you got a link?
I've just realised I'm an hour ahead of myself as I hadn't changed my time settings in My Control Panel.

Winning a slam is 1000 entry ranking points.
The total "purse" of Bratislava is $100K (plus hospitality) and here's the link:
http://www.atptennis.com/en/players/entrysystem/entrypoints.asp
NB: Any Challenger providing hospitality shall receive the points of the next highest prize
money level in that category.

Thanks Alan. I think I get it now.
All the differences between the Race and Entry rankings have me kerflummoxed. Though I've never followed Challengers before.
I can sort of understand it now.....I hope.

Yup, agreed. I've always said it doesn't matter (ask David
) but I suppose I never realised just what Entry points were on offer in Challengers.

Like other people have said, that website just refuses to load.
Could be to do with Level3 and Congent (backbones of the internet) and their squabble with each other which is causing some parts of the Internet to be unreachable by certian other parts.
For those of us who can't get on directly, try clicking
here.
