He is 6ft 3in with a toned, muscular body, cheekbones to die for and the sexiest eyes ever.
A-b-s-o-l-u-t-e-l-y! hearts  Really liked the rest of your post too. Smile

He doesn't have the face, he just doesn't and that is the most important credential.

If it wasn't for the fact he's a sports star, you'd look at him on the street and think he's average looking. But guess what, it doesn't matter Very Happy
Well Nadal doesn't have the face either - but then it's underwear that he's modelling!!  Quite frankly I prefer Andy to look "average".  Macho looking models and pretty boys turn me right off.

These are the nominations for most stylish Scottish male:

Most Stylish Male

Adam Sinclair actor, lead in forthcoming screen version of Irvine Welsh’s Ectacsy

Andy Murray tennis sensation, fashion show fixture and Mario Testino muse

Daniel Davidson dancer, Scottish Ballet

Mark Hogarth creative director, Harris Tweed Hebrides

Omar Zingaro Bhatia artist and model

Still hunting the front page picture!
If Mario Testino is interested in him, that surely speaks volumes.  Must admit I've never heard of any of the other nominees.

Meanwhile just keep hunting for that front page pic ... Very Happy

Just joking (sort of) with the “C’mon, Andy – tennis focus” comment.  Of course he should do what he wants to do and as you said, Aileen, some diversion is good.
You’re right about his legs looking short in that picture, Mark. It must be an optical illuision, due to the jeans being so low slung.

Good posting, Clementine, but I’m out of time, may get back to this later!

I personally would never look at Andy as average.  Check him out here - the camera loves him.  He so has the face, he just has.

Andy is the man of many faces.  If you look at him on the tennis court his face is constantly changing depending on how he hit the ball.  Some of those faces make him look wicked.  He has a wonderful smile, and so I think he is definitely better than average.

He reminded me of a young Paul McCartney, but that was probably just because of the haircut.
Which looked like a DIY job. lol  Seriously though, although I only saw it for the first time recently, I did think it was a good interview.

I agree with that - and if you want an example, just have a look at the Poetry in Slow Motion video of last year's WTF and watch Andy, particulary from 6:38 to 7:50.  It's brilliant!  The whole video is well worth a look at anyway and for those who may have missed it -

This picture always struck me - Andy looks so good in jeans and a shirt.  Smart but casual. Little tongue man

thumb up  Andy is just one of those guys who's much more comfortable in casual clothes.   He just doesn't look right wearing a suit however smart it may be.  But he did look a real wow at Jamie's wedding.  Shame we only saw the top half though, and as far as I know this was the only official pic which was released to the media.

Andy Murray Nominated For Scottish Style Awards [The Slice, 15 October]

Andy Murray has been nominated for “Most Stylish Male” at this year’s Scottish Style Awards.

Yes, you read that correctly. Most stylish. And to think, just yesterday he was wearing red, v-neck Adidas tennis tops.

Judy tweeted the above picture the other day (no doubt trying to nab her son some votes) but Andy might do alright without her help. Sitting front row at the Burberry Fashion Show most likely helped his nomination. But lets be honest – Andy is Scotland’s pride and joy. If he wasn’t nominated for “Most Stylish” he surely would have fallen under “Breakthrough of the Year” or “Outstanding Contribution” (two of the other categories). However, not clinching a Slam this year proved detrimental to landing in those, so, if not for “Most Stylish,” surely Scotland would have made up a new category and nominated him for “Most Murray.” He’d at least have to compete with Judy and Jamie. But most likely Maggie would win.

But in this category, Andy will have to compete with:
- Adam Sinclair actor, lead in forthcoming screen version of Irvine Welsh’s Ectacsy
- Daniel Davidson dancer, Scottish Ballet
- Mark Hogarth creative director, Harris Tweed Hebrides
- Omar Zingaro Bhatia artist and model

That’s a tough category. Luckily, Andy is listed as “Andy Murray tennis sensation, fashion show fixture and Mario Testino muse.”

Well, at least they got his name right.

Kidding. Vote for Andy (whoever you judges are).

In a nutshell, Andy is very handsome and photogenic, & of course, he could win this thing (top model, or whatever it is) and since his fame and fortune have not spoiled him yet - at all - I feel sure the experience would not be detrimental to him.

And I came across it purely by chance!  I have to admit that he does look pretty good in it and think the reason could be that he's so much more mature now.  Still like him in more casual clothes though.
