Davis Cup : Croatia vs GB

The opening better not be delayed! I'm going to see Rod Stewart in it first week it opens   lol
You'd better start crossing your fingers Angie! - http://www.scotsman.com/what-s-on/music/glasgow-hydro-to-get-late-final-safety-check-1-3070634

Also I see from that article that 107 of 140 events have already been planned for now and next year, so any WG tie might not be feasible any time soon.

I like Rod Stewart as well, I like the faces a lot of good songs. Perhaps his music has changed and he is more into what would be called easy listening. Hope you enjoy the concert Angie.

Saw Roddy at Pittodrie, June 1995. He was brill. We were all freezing, and he himself said he was effin freezin' and he wouldn't be back.

My chum and I bought the posh tickets, seated. The riff-raffs were standing on the pitch.

When we got there, Rod was trying to get everyone going, and my chum and I decided to join the riff-raffs who were right up close to the stage... but the security plebs wouldn't let us invade the pitch.  ranting

I've never seen him live but I really do like listening to him.  Some of us have excellent taste. Whistle  At least you know what he's singing about, which is more than can be said of most 'modern' pop stars.

None in particular, just the majority of them.

I last saw him live in Glasgow SECC 3 year ago, he was great apart from that 4 minutes when he did the croner stuff!

However, his new album 'Time' is greattt!!

Maybe Gangsta could inform us which of today's pop artists he thinks will be around as long as Rod and a few other Golden Oldies have. Smile

On another subject, I see that Marin Cilic is banned for 9 months for inadvertantly taking a glucose derivitive. A team member bought Coramine glucose tablets at a pharmacy, it states:

They have to be so careful, dont they? One little slip and you're out for a long time.
