Who will win the Slams in 2014?

I think he might do better on clay this year but RG is pushing it a bit, it would be nice for him to win some clay titles before he retires, preferably masters but RG is off most peoples radars not just Andy's due to a certain Spaniard.

He is a hell of a mountain to climb over, it would need a major upset like 2009 for anybody to win it.
Maybe that certain Spaniard's knees might start playing up again. Whistle  Seriously though, if Soderling, who was effectively a clay court nobody ranked #25 at the time managed to cause an upset, then why not Andy?  True Nadal beat him in three close sets in the SF in 2011, but Andy has come a long way since then, both physically and mentally.

But Soderling didn't win it either. Soderling may have beaten him but he lost to Federer because of it in the final.

Beating Nadal would take a collosal effort, unless he was hampered by something.

I'm not saying it's beyond the realms of impossibility, someone else could take Nadal out, which would be nice.

It would just be nice to think that Andy has a better chance on the clay than in recent years, if his back is better. If he is pain free that has to help him in terms of movement, but surely confidence as well.

Winning RG would be tough while Nadal is around, but then again it's tough for a whole load of players. I'd just like to think Andy has a better chance to play to his ability now, maybe to get a better record over top tenners. It would be great to see him reaching semi's on the clay more often. A final on clay would be fantastic. Any clay title would be nice, it would put to bed any ideas that he can't play on the surface.
