This is great. Andy will win. since joining up with lendl his game has already changed or the mind!

He played well against Nole his serve being the key and he has to do the same again tomorrow and he will. good Luck Andy.

Andy needs to put today's win behind asap. The goal is now to win the title. Of course if he beats Federer, he wins the title anyway but he mustn't get carried away after today. That's my only concern.

Ak, beating Federer in the final won't be an upset because he has beaten Federer in the final in bigger tournaments. Did you forget?

Murray definitely had a shot at winning he played well today! It wouldn't be a major upset and I never said it would be! But it would be an upset given their ranking given Roger's record here and the fact that Roger has also beaten Murray in some pretty big finals!

But it's going to come down to who executes on the day! It should be a great match! Hopefully Roger will win but if Murray pulls it off I'll be the first to say congratulations to him and all of you guys, you have to give credit where it is due that is for sure!

Andy knows how to play Roger so he doesn’t need a gameplan right now because it’s not like Federer changes his game quite often. I really think both will be up for it as they haven’t played each other in a long time so that much is guaranteed. Federer will clearly be the aggressor here while Andy will mix it up. One thing for sure, I don’t see Federer winning it in straight sets unless Andy is having a mental let down after today. I think he should stay pretty pumped and prioritize what’s more important. I loved the way he pumped himself up in the 2nd set today and kept the momentum going in his favour. Federer, on the other hand, will be very keen on beating Andy. He’s trying to build his confidence by beating players worthy beating so I am not seeing him giving up any time soon. Andy still has the potential to win it in straight. Let’s see.

I'd like to be impartial, but I can't!

oops gone and posted on the  wrong thread by mistake.  Anyway will now rectify by posting here, which has to be the official one as it's the one with Bev's h2h.
Andy know how to beat smugfed - as the h2h demonstrates.  I just hope the conditions playing at night won't be too different from the daytime conditions given that smugfed is so used to them now and Andy hasn't had a sniff at them.  IF he won, presumably it would narrow the rankings gap quite a bit as Andy would gain a full 500 points as nothing to defend here.  But I'm being naughty - must not get ahead of myself because anything could happen tomorrow.  That said if they both played like they played today then Andy sure deserves to win, as even ak acknowledged.
He sure does . Go Andy .  cmonandy

Anybody who thinks AM can win tommorow will like the odds the bookies are offering.

Federer is favourite at around 8/11 with Murray at around Evens or 11/10. Straight sets Federer is around 7/4, straight sets Murray is 5/2.  To win in three it is 3/1 federer and 7/2 Murray.

I like the 7/2 Murray in three sets. However, I feel it'll be straights and Federer will be holding a plate and making ungracious remarks.

And that will give you another chance to take another shot at him!

He has beaten him in Doha 09, Indian Wells 09, Madrid 08, Shanghai (MC 08) and Dubai 08 in three before and three times in 2 sets.  The 7/2 is a good price Grabcopy.

Andy Murray V2 versus Old School Faculty Frat-Boy

I recall Lendl saying in an interview something like, you have to be ready to step through the door.
Andy is ready to step through the door... no doubt..

Cannot wait for this match.. be still my heart!
