Phew! He could have done it at the 1st match point - but must have chosen not to.

Well done Andy!
Couldnt see the match only snippets but he did seem a little bit of the old Andy, a bit passive and quite far behind the baseline. However he comes away with a W against a quality opponent. Onwards & upwards.

Berdych puts the shot long and the match is in the bag cmon yeah

Well done Andy. clap  Hard luck Berdych.  A dangerous player against Andy indeed.

2nd set stats below.

Now I'm away to my bed again - only had about 15 hours sleep over the last 3 nights yawn

And still only 2 players have beaten Andy 4 times in a row.

At least he got to the SF.  We should be grateful for small mercies. Smile

25% second serves won!

Sounds like a total farce in the last game. Motored to 3 MPs, then threatened to mess it all up. What is wrong with this guy??

Oh well, Djokovic tomorrow most likely. Will be interesting to see how he does this time.

Must be his best ever showing in this tournament, right? Think

I remember that he could have got to this point in 2009, but for an injury/illness withdrawal before the QF (against Gasquet?).
