Any ideas for a live streaming site for the match, please? I use Bet365 because it is reliable even though I have to pay a £5 fee to open an account. Hopefully it is a one off. Otherwise try livescorehunter - if you put this name into Google search it usually throws up the right website. Fortunately I have Sky and only have to use it occasionally.

RG 2010 - Andy was in the process of recovering from his post AO-slump and was also still working on improving his game on clay.
Paris 2011 - He hadn't played since Shanghai, having been forced to withdraw from Basel due to a freak gluteal muscle injury, from which he was still recovering, and also had a slight hamstring problem. Then there was the matter of the controversial unscheduled change of 3 balls in the 4th game of the decider when Andy was two BPs up, something which saw Berdych take the next 4 points and which unsettled Andy.
Today - Andy's in a much more positive frame of mind right now than he was at this time in 2010/2011 and has had 11 days' intensive coaching by Lendl in Florida. Also he tends to improve the further he works his way into a tournament. Berdych has played in the DC and two tournaments since the AO so will be match sharp, but could be feeling a little tired by now.
I'm expecting a 3-setter here but wouldn't like to predict the winner.
Wisdom in the wee small hours! Just catching up, Aileen and seeing if everyone else felt somewhat nervous about the coming battle with Berdych - and battle I am sure it will be. I am not confident about Andy winning it either. Don't like Berdych at all so it's even worse - but I'll have to watch - see you there.

Yes feel very nervous Jan for exactly the same reasons as you. Someone may have said this as don't have time to scroll through but according to today's Indy, Andy has a big blister on his foot, which won't help. I can only watch start of match and am thinking I might chicken out and go and look at the crocuses in the sun in the park! I think it might be too difficult to have to leave it after the first set, but haven't decided yet. How cowardly is that? Anyway come on Andy it's time to give that nasty little Berdych a beating.

I am really nervous about today's match too. But I am going to make myself sit through it come what may. Why does everyone dislike Berdych so much?

He's just a really nasty, snide player.

He's arrogant and does nasty things like refuse to shake hands after his opponent hit a ball at him even though the latter apologised. And I don't find the big hitters' tennis as interesting to watch as those who play with more flair like our Andy. Apparently he said that when he looked at the draw this was the match he wanted to play - so I really hope he gets his come uppance this time.

Oh ok then. Most of it must have passed me by. I completely agree that the big hitters are boring to watch. When Sampras was dominant I practically stopped watching tennis altogether. Well, not long now (still trying to find a live stream with English commentary). Come on ANDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks very much Janscribe. Turns out tennis tv are showing it online after all. I paid $69 for a years account and that was back in '09. Funnily I also don't like our Thomas, probably because he just seems to beat Andy fairly easily. So I'm expecting a hard game today, where a win would be superb while at the same time any progression in Andy's game would still give reasons to be cheerful! Can't wait.

Not cowardly at all, feel the same way - may escape to help Os with some gardening but know I won't be able to leave it = a fraught mornng for me then!!! Enjoy the crocuses.

Annabel was saying yesterday that Berdych hits the ball flat and takes the time away from Andy, and that's why he does so well against him.
