Bogbrush head in the semis. Should be 1pm (UK time) Friday. Can he build on his largely impressive AO performance to beat Djoko this time? My main concern is that if he starts slowly, as he did in Australia, then he'll be nearly out by the time he gets his arse into gear. I'll be optimistic though and go for Murray in 3.

Interesting fact, the top 4 are 42/2 against the rest outside of the top 4 for 2012. Guess which two have lost the two matches to players outside the top 4?

I don't have a good feeling about this one. Andy has not been playing his best tennis. His serve is not yet clicking and 2nd serve is attackable. He is still work in progress as 10 days is not enough time to iron out all the kinks.
One thing that gives me hope is that even though Djokovic won 70% of Andy 2nd serve, Andy also gathered 60% of Djokovic 2nd serve at the AO so there could be a few breaks of serve.
My heart hopes for a surprise win but my head is saying 60/40% to Djokovic.

If Andy were to win this semi, let's hope he will be pitted against Del Potro rather than Federer. This will show just how much Andy has improved as DP is on the way back. Federer poses no threat to our British hero.

Nice Joe, lets stay positive for Andy's sake and send wonderful vibes. I think Andy will go into the match knowing he can get Nole. And I think there will be phone calls from Lendl to Andy with some good advice.
So Andy Mr. Magic you beat one demon today by staying cool and staying in the game. Tomorrow come into this match with aces and good returns on your racquet and let your racquet do the talking!! May the force be with you and may you beat Nole!!

All the pressure will be on Nole tomorrow - sure Andy wants to win and we want him to win but Nole is EXPECTED to win which is a very different thing.

Looking forward to the match! I think I'm gonna stay up late to watch this one...should be entertaining. Behind you Murray all the way and yes I do think the pressure will definately be on Djoko so hopefully that'll help our dear Murray out

Thanks for your optimism Joe, I'll sleep better now with your prediction. Maybe I can watch the first set tomorrow if I'm lucky with the timing. .

Come on Bev, wake up and get cracking with the H2H! I'm standing by my man: Andy in 3 set thriller. MW fans will be suffering palpitations, stomach ulcers and have nails bitten up to their arm pits. Not to mention a little something in a glass for medicinal purposes. Afterall it will be 5 pm in Dubai!
