My thoughts precisely!
I was talking about Feds draw.

I'm not sure that qualifiers are easy. First off you've never played them and not seen any tapes, so you go into the first set watching how the guy plays and often they play well enough to win the first set, then you play catch up to get even. Plus qualifiers come out swinging with nothing to lose and matches already played.

But of course I will keep the faith in Andy that he will come out playing his game and play smart.

Exactly - which is why they should never be under-estimated, and Andy is well aware of this.

There's a video of Andy in Dubai here http://www.dubaidutyfreetennischampionships.com/

You might need a head for heights!

Sorry I can't do a better link, but it should be on the home page or go to the videos page.

Thank's Elena, that was cool. Andy looks toned and relaxed, I think he loves being in Dubai, mind you who wouldn't.

Thanks Elena. It is a real eye opener to see the place. So modern, tall and Andy is enjoying himself and looking happy. Excellent footie skill of course.

I'd like to be impartial, but I can't!

Relax. There's no one in qualifying who is any threat. The idea that it's this big danger is just ridiculous. Andy deals with low-ranked players as good as anyone. Surely it's much better that he will be playing Michael Berrer or someone rather than like, Gasquet or Dolgopolov or something.

Andy is playing against Michael Berrer on Tuesday. H2H 2-0 to Andy. So he's a player he knows and what it takes to beat him.

I think Michael Berrer is the guy Andy injured his ankle against at RG last year.  I seem to remember that he is a difficult opponent.

Have to look up the time difference so I can see when his match is on in the States.
