Dunblane for final

Quote

I hope there is a need for this, and wish everyone well who would go, but alas I foolishly agreed to go away for the weekend of the final to celebrate a friend's birthday. doh

I will be on the train for the semi-finals and final.   I hope to be frantically trying to get a signal.  I could be like that woman in the documentary!  nervous

I couldn't get there (hoping there is a need) It would take me far too long as it is literally the other end of the country to me and would take me days to get there and back.

If Andy makes it to the final, I wonder how difficult it will be to queue next Sunday for a seat on Henman's Hill/Murray's mound ?

Did anyone try this last year ?

I'm a bit afraid to buy a flight from Norway, in case it turns out to be just Pie-in-the-Sky or a practical joke, and no-one else turns up.  w00t
I visualize myself on my tod in Dunblane pub.

Last year they started queing straight after semis on the friday! I queued for a grounds pass on Thursday and 4 hours was long enough for me Very Happy we had tickets yesterday but we went up to the hill bout 20mins b4 Andy came on and it was nigh on impossible to find a blade of grass to sit on with a decent view Frown

It would seem this thread has died.

It's now getting a bit short notice for me to buy a ticket to Glasgow. Frown

I know it's a long shot, but do any of you live around the Worcester area in the UK? If you do, and if Andy makes the final, anyone fancy coming over to mine and watching with me? I've got a bit of space in my bungalow for a bunch of people for the afternoon.

If anyone fancies it, let me know.
