just read on BBC sports forum that Federer has injured his ankle in training and will probably miss Madrid masters, does anyone know any more?

This is news to me.  I guess all the other players will be whooping with delight, given that their chances will be much higher with the Fedex out.  Pity our Andy wasn't in there though  Crying or Very sad

Marat Safin is also out of the Madrid Masters with a knee injury but he is still on the list of players, Nicolas Massu got the last wildcard which was voted for by the readers of the local newspaper.

Andy winning Federer's hometown tournament would be good, but doing it without The Fed there is a bit like sneaking in through the back door... Rolling Eyes

Rogi's been injured for quite a long time now, with his ankle!  Frown  ive actually got a very tasty picture for the Fed-Ex likers some where....just go and find it..!  Rolling Eyes

Shock  What a turn up for the books.

I think his tennis is sublime, and I love watching him, but he looks darned sexy in that pic.

yea!! drool the man's become a bit of a sex-symbol round here! he's getting sooo much better, and during the davis cup against england - well i thought he looked pretty good in that tight red gear! (well *cough* Andy was better....but the dude's got some competition)  wink Rogi's hair is quite nice - shame he's injured!  Frown

btw - if any of you guys were wondering where the photo were taken...i know they are on a street strange!  Rolling Eyes it's NY Open 2005....he did this thing on the streets! man why don't they do these things in during wimby on my road?!  Very Happy
