Selfish vs selfish. hmm. Let's see who prevails. But seriously, I think this will end in 4 sets (unless Andy get's a bit passive from time to time), in which case, I'll be able to see at least the last two sets.

Hoping and wishing and praying...

Looks like I may get an hour's sleep because this looks like it's going to a 3rd set, so we may both be winners.

Jeez, 82 minutes for the 2nd set. fainting  Poor Andy having to wait this out.

And that's because the real drama queen is Sharapova. She should have been able to close this match 15 minutes ago, but she really has this tendency to make things difficult for her at the last minute. I cannot tell you many matches of her had similar fate last year alone.

I don't know what Wade smokes on a daily basis but she clearly doesn't watch any other match unless it's Andys, otherwise she would have known a lot more about other players and their notorious tendencies. Never mind all that shriekings that we have to put up with the likes of Sharapova on a regular basis.

Much as I'd love shriekapova to go out I wish she'd just finished it off rather than opening it up to what might be an interminable 3rd set.  I'm just anxious that the later it starts, the cooler it will get towards end of match, which could be bad for Andy's back.  Also dk if more showers are forecast?
Oh and I'm only half watching it but wasn't she caught out cheating by itv comms,  saying she didn't stop play when she did?

Sharapova is abysmal when it comes to holding her own serve. It's a curse to have her match before any match you would want to see.

Serving well or at least on a consistent level is a tennis skill and Sharpova doesn’t have that skill; therefore, I maintain that she’s just a ball basher and not a genuine tennis player.

46 break points in the match so far.

My coverage apparently got bored with their match and has switched to Li Na match, who is about to go out.

That shrieking must be distracting but does she complain about that?

And I couldn't sleep.

In her defense this is the first set she's lost this tournament. She's pretty much demolished her opponents in the first 3 rounds.
