Recorded this match and just watched. The first point in the match was an Andy Ace. LOL! You just knew Andy's back was completely OK and that he would walk this match. He played great. Very few unforced errors and loved the 4 aces in one game.
Rusedski thinks Andy will reach the semis and play Nadal.  I agree but hope the weather remains dry and the courts play hard and fast.

So Gasquet it is for us. Ferrer will most likely get Granollers.

I do think Andy is the better player in a GS but given that he's not 100%, I am not sure how things will pan out vs Gasquet. Never mind Ferrer at this point.

Gasquet looks in good form but have to give Murray the edge in best of 5 think Ferrer will be tough to stop reaching the semis for the first time he looms very impressive.

Courier didn't think he looked "completely ok" - said he seemed he still didn't seem to be moving completely 100%.

Gasquet is definitely in good form so Andy has a giant task ahead of him. I hope he's 100% both mentally and physically.

Even though Andy lost in their last meeting, I do believe Andy has the mental edge over him on a big stage, so let's see.

I didn't think Andy moved very well in between points. Did anyone else notice it? Maybe he feels better on the run who knows.

Aye, pretty much what Courier was saying.

It might just be a confidence issue, perhaps worried that he'll twinge his back again.

I remember against Troicki last year he came out and seemed scared to really move properly, but as the match went on and he went behind he seemed to forget about that and started to move better.

Thats my view - when he stops playing he immediately thinks "back", but when hes actually on the job he seems OK
