Our little ray of sunshine! I feel you are a real pessimist and I'm just glad I don't ever have to meet you in the flesh, as you would spoil my day. You really should go and take some pink pills (for optimism) I'm sure you were in the depths last year after Miami and had written Andy off then!

I know I'm paranoid. But am I paranoid enough?

I don't mind Rafa winning, I like him. Smile  Though it would be interesting to see him really get challenged at RG and be involved in a 5 set match in the later rounds.

My wish list:-

1.   Andy is fully recovered from his niggling back injury
2.   Mr L. gets Andy’s confidence out of his boots and back at a decent level
3.   Mr L gets Andy to believe “You can do this”
4.   Andy gets a decent draw
5.   The sun shines, there is no wind or rain, no blustery conditions
6.   Thomas Berdych and Milos Ranoich are on opposite sides of the draw
7.   Mr Magic turns up at RG and plays wonderful tennis like we all know he can………………….

But mostly I hope that if Andy’s injury is not better, he does the sensible thing and withdraws, I would much rather see him fit and able to compete fully at Queens, Wimbledon and the Olympics.

Me too, the main reason to me that the clay court season is so dull is due to Rafa's magnificence on this surface. This year he has been playing well enough but Novak has disappointed, I would like, not love, Novak to win RG this time when both of them are playing well in the final.
Despite Today i think Novak has a good chance to win it & it would be nice if someone else did for a change.

I agree with all your wish list MM but really hope that Andy sees sense and doesn't play at RG unless he is fully fit.  Hopefully, having Lendl to talk it over with should help.

He's playing an exhibition on Thursday against Gulbis, isn't he? He should know then.

Yes, he should know then but I doubt he will withdraw he played with an ankle injury last year and got to the the semi finals but the back is different.

I really do not know what he will do. If he had a good draw he could do well it is the best of five sets and Andy does do well with the longer range of sets because he is so fit. No one knows the problem I cannot see it being a serious injury because he would have been advased to not enter the events.

Take it as a good omen. The opposite is usually right if you know what I mean.

I'd like to be impartial, but I can't!
