That was rather interesting and explained Andy's style of play really well.  =D>

Tennis isn't too complicated a game, it's just hard for a lot of players to pick up tactics as the majority tend to play doubles matches and make the mistake of implementing singles type shots, which really don't work. Took me a few years to learn to play doubles. Unfortunately I now can't play singles as i keep trying to play doubles shots!!

If at first you don't succeed, you fail.

and another good one.particularly like

"Murray said, adding that he had spoken to Petchey on Saturday night after his semi-final victory over Andy Roddick. "He was a bit worried I was going to sack him and hire my girlfriend". "

and from the scotsman

http://sport.scotsman.com/tennis.cfm?id=266552006

"While Murray was preparing to fly to Tennessee, Sears, the daughter of Daniela Hantuchova's coach Nigel Sears, was getting ready to go home. "She's going back today," he said. "She's still at school and stuff."

With his family and friends mostly back in Europe, Murray can expect a quietish time over the next few weeks, when he competes in Memphis, Las Vegas, Indian Wells and Miami. He had hoped for some light relief in the casinos of Vegas, but learned you have to be over 21 to get in.

That and the absence of his girlfriend apart, he will enjoy the relative tranquillity in the US, far from the frenzy which has greeted his success in the UK. "

it appears kim is not 35 but is actually younger than andy

"And then he took the third on a tie-break — before giving his girlfriend Kim Sears a celebratory snog."

a good summary of the week with better quotes than elsewhere and a list of how andy has progressed in his matches against top players

http://sport.independent.co.uk/tennis/article346566.ece

"I want to get to the stage where I'm 21, 22, fully developed and have worked on every area of my game. It's not so much about the ranking, it's about maturing as a player, knowing how to win the matches"
