I hope Mr. Lendl has bound and gagged Mr. Tragic and hidden him in a locker so Mr. Magic can have his moment of glory.

Come on the Muzz.... You can do this, remember you are the pride of Scotland, you just need to win this one battle to give yourself a chance of winning the war. Revenge is a dish best served cold and a year is a long enough period of time for it to be suitably chilled so go out there and kick some ass, we are all behind you cheering you on and willing you over that finish line. But come what may 2012 is gonna be an exciting year for you and Mr L. Best of luck for Friday go forth and e a Scottish Warrier.

Just remember what a hugely talented player you are Andy and you KNOW you can beat Nole. Forget about revenge and that sort of stuff as this is about you winning rather than him losing. It's about you being the player you are capable of being ie one of the most gifted players of your era.
I hope Mr L will help with techniques for calming yourself before you go on and while on court. Deep breaths always help. And as a number of us have said before try some rescue remedy - it keeps you alert while helping to deal with the nerves.
So long as you play your best, that is all the rest of us can ask for.

Andy, if by any chance you see this, just go out there and play the way you practise, uninhibited and full on. All the pressure's on him, you've achieved your ranking and anything from now on is a bonus. Don't hold back, go for your fab first serve and then if you have to, let him have it with a full-blooded second - no point in meekly getting the ball in play, he'll be all over it like a rash. Keep him guessing with the direction and pace. Don't be fooled by his shenanigans with his fatigue/shoulder/hamstring/breathing/ball-bouncing. You've seen it all before and know he's as strong as an ox and a very crafty monkey.
This is not a dress-rehearsal, don't look back in anger at missed chances, just move on to the next point with a clear head, like he does. You can't win every point and it's time you stopped trying. It will be hot tomorrow so limit your chasing down of lost causes and going for impossible shots, as much as we love to see you play them, they will wear you out. Protect your serve at all costs which is something you have been doing very successfully of late, but particularly in the next two matches. You can break him when you're good and ready but it is imperative you don't make it easy for him when he has break points.
You love your boxing so you know how important it is to finish him off when he's on the ropes - don't let him back in, be ruthless. Go for it when you get the chance but maintain your cool thoughtful game for as long as possible in between the key moments as we know this drives your opponents to distraction. Play great Andy, as only you can, we all know that when you are serving great and hitting huge you are the most exciting player on the planet.

It's time you prove everyone wrong, Andy. And remember, revenge is sweet.
Think of this, this AO, as your Mount Everest and you are to climb it. You've tried a few times already but you couldn't do it.
But here you are again and clearly you want to get to the top of it otherwise you wouldn't be here again, isn't it? Keep that in mind when you fall behind.
You are destined to win it, Andy and you need to believe in it. It doesn't matter who is in your way; what matters is that you know that you can do it. You can win a Slam and let this AO be yours.

It was an epic semi final match and wonderfully, nerve racking to watch! It becomes more of a pleasure to watch your matches and be a fan after every game. Make no mistake, this is still your year, dear Braveheart. I'm very much looking forward to what this coming year brings. Scotland and me..your biggest Yankee fan..behind you every step of the way

'So long as you play your best, that is all the rest of us can ask for. '
That is what I posted before your match and you did. Not necessarily your best tennis Andy all the time and clearly you dipped in 4th set, but overall you played the best you could on the day. And you didn't give up. You played with your heart and your soul yesterday and I applaud you.
