Courage isn't absence of fear but mastery of it.

Hey guys, some of the pro-Murray fans are appearing. A few posts that have popped up in the last few minutes in reply to this typical anti-Murray post:
The response:
Well said that man.
Hear, hear!

I was talking to my son - who is an avid F1 follower - about Lewis Hamilton and why he is so unpopular. He is convinced that there is an element of racial prejudice involved - has anyone else heard that?

Yes - I used to read Sportschat on ITV teletext (when they still had it) and there were several comments about that.

******* christ.
Some guys on there now licking Federer's arse, saying how great he is and he's sure to win it now. I told them that's he's not that great any more, was average at RG and has been average here, and that Djokovic would beat him comfortably.
The reponses?
Utter, utter arse-licking crap. One guy even included "(Greatest of all time) after Federer's name for no reason. The other reckons they're going to meet in the final...
"If Federer (the greatest of all time) gets on top and starts to apply pressure there's not much anyone can do."
**** off.

I shouldn't have even replied. Was just annoyed by the arse-licking. Now I have four posters posting essays about it and I just don't have the time to respond. FFS. So cringeworthy.
Aye good point, think I may pop back on after Djokovic trounces him again for a bit of face-rubbing..

I think you should stop wasing your time and energy on these people. They're just a wind-up and not worth the effort of a response.

These ones aren't. One of them is a genuine Federer fan, the other a part-timer. Neither are WUMs though, or anti-Murray. They're just blinded by their love for him.
Luckily they seem to now be discussing their adoration for the most humble man of all time and seem to have forgotten all about me so I'm in the clear..

Just stuck it to some of the haters, I know i'm going to regret that in a couple of hours though when I'm embroiled in another pointless argument with someone who will no doubt get pissy, use abuse and talk utter shite.
Oh well, helped get some of the frustration off my chest.

I used to like Hamilton 'til he disappeared to his tax haven (is he still doing that?). At least Murray contributes to his country.

Do you think we are almost past the 'anyone but England' era in Andy's career? I just don't see it mentioned any more. Sure people must be still bringing it up in some Daily Mail comments but they are not getting rated like they probably have in the past.

I think there will always be die-hard haters who will dredge it up forever, but they will become a smaller and smaller minority.
