This is bad timing for us UK people, then we are used to it really I suppose.  Really excited to see how sharp Andy is here from the start.  He has responded well to AO failure this year, and I think he did well last week considering he had clearly been going at it pretty hard in his training block beforehand, I think that showed in the final for sure.  I don't like it when he loses to smugfed, but in the grand scheme of things Dubai is pretty minor and Andy now has a good run to the French Open where he can certainly make some ground on those ahead of him.

Shame Nole is in his half of the draw as I can't see any but he or Andy winning IW or Miami.  Andy has 1550 points to defend up to and including the end of the French Open. There are at least 7,000 points up for grabs assuming he plays Monte Carlo, which I expect he will.  Andy is more than capable  of being the number 2 seed by the time we get to Wimbledon.  It is over these next 3 months we will see if Lendl can really make a difference with Andy.  Number 3 will come but I am not too optimistic about Nadal's chances this year....

I would love to see him win this tournament and beat Nole again.  Any edge he can get over these guys he must start taking.  He must get into their heads more, rather than the other way around.

goodjob  I've had a tennis feast today!

Isner match, Roddick match, Djokovic match (Golubev just kept hitting them out in that one), Fish match, and now Harrison match (currently 1st set tie-break which Harrison is winning won).  This best be over before Andy gets on Eyebrow raise.

Should Harrison get through this and Andy gets through his, then Andy defo not going to have the crowd behind him. We need to reinforce the troops search

The weather in Indian Wells is quite dry and the balls seem to fly. It is a very affluent community. Palm trees and large homes.

Harrison is cruising at the moment. 7-6, 3-0. So if Andy gets past tonight, Harrison is next. Will then have to play either Wawrinka or Simon. Hopefully Simon.

Is he? the upcoming time changing is throwing me off already.

Which also means had I waited for Andy's match, it would have been well over by the time I switched to his match. Congrats to self.

Cheap seats in the stadiums though (and I'm not referring to ticket prices) lol

So Harrison takes it 7-6 6-3
