The Rotterdamn classic doesn't inspire much confidence, the conditions aren't condusive to Tennis that's easy on the eye and Murray's playing his first match of the tournament against someone whose acclimatised, so an ugly 7-5 6-3 seems likely.
I hope it's not ugly. Am tired of watching ugly tennis from Andy these days.

Thats Tgsona's match over, does this mean an earlier than expected start for muzza?

No, if it says 'not before' on the OOP then they stick to it.

Courage isn't absence of fear but mastery of it.

What about the 6-1, 6-4 win against Seppi at Queens? And Andy had a very good warm-up in the doubles yesterday.

He is turning out to be a bit of an enigma. Very hard to second guess what comes next.
That makes his matches all the more interesting! However, have to say I'm a bit

I wonder why alot people on this forum seem to think andy will find it tough when facing lower ranked players but are confident he will win facing anyone in the top 10 or 20, including fed, people were pretty confident he'd beat in the AO open.

Because, for some reason, Andy sometimes seems to find playing lower ranked players more difficult. Personally, I think it's because his focus wanders off more easily in these matches.

I think Andy thrived (and I use that in the past tense) on being the underdog at one point. It suited him and he rose to the occasion. However, it's all change now. The others have his measure and he has to get some consistency in his game (serve being a biggy) in order to get to the top. There is no doubt that he has the game to beat anyone on a good day. Just that the good days seem to be getting lost along the way.
It's not about his tennis, it's about what's in his head. That's the way I see it, anyway.

Because a lot of ppl on here actually like seeing him lose, for some reason. Find any excuse, that kind of thing.
He hardly loses to any guys, at all, let alone lower ranked guys, so ppl's fear/malice has no evidence to feed on.
Straight sets for Andy Murray no problem.

I doubt there's a real Murray fan on here who likes to see him lose. That's a load of nonsense.

Being objective and realistic does not mean that you are not a fan. I refuse to be sycophant. You can still support your man, even if you appreciate that he might not be all you want him to be.
