This is today again already - not before 5pm on stadium 2 IW time so I think midnight UK time?
Just heard Andy on radio while typing - sounding fairly self-critical though reminding himself he's not played matches for 5 weeks and just wants to get better each match.   Sorry that Kei went out as I like him.  Know nothing about Berlocq other than clay specialist so look forward to that H2H Bev,

I love the Fed option in the poll Smile But I'm going for Andy in 2. I don't know anything about this guy but I don't see him causing Andy much trouble.

Berlocq, or Warlocq as I like to call it, was pretty impressive against Nishikori, but I feel Andy will read his game better and defend well against Berlocq trying to force errors with forehand bombs whilst stood 5 feet behind the baseline.

Unfortunate result for Nishikori as I also rather like his play. However, he appeared to be badly injured and suffering during the match.

Things are hotting up with Andy playing again today/tonight whereever one happens to be He certainly is meeting some different players in this tournament. So thanks for the H to H on Berlocq
With the timing at 5pm their time I should be able to catch the first set. It is so cold in the UK the only place that is warm is under the duvet Go for it Andy!
I heard about the earthquake it seems it will take another one for someone to beat Federer!

Berlocq is not too bad actually. You will find out tonight but I agree on the Nishi stuff. He would have been the preferred one for many, but maybe it’s a good thing Andy’s getting a bit of easy time now. It will help him later to stay fit and healthy – not to mention, enough practice in the meantime against these opponents to adjust both the courts and conditions.

The match is coming at 8pm for me though I take it it won't be live on TV tonight.

Once again Andy - World no 3 -  is shunted to the second court.

Djokovic - world no 1
Federer - world no 2
Nadal - world no 5

are all playing on Court 1, just as we expected, but not right!

Hopefully Andy does not get bumped off the tv in favor of Rafa.  I thought Andy played well last night, no one wants him to peak too early.  His first serve percentage was not as good as it should have been and he was muttering about that.  But he played good enough to win and that's all thats important to me.

Good Luck Andy, may your first serve make you happy and your returns be blazing.  May the force be with you.  cmonandy

Andy handled Lu easily. He looks in pretty good nick now. I would be very very surprised if Berlocq won a set.

I don't know much about Berlocq except that he looks like someone. Trouble is, I can't remember who it is that he looks like!

From the little that I do know about Berlocq I think Andy will be too strong for him. Andy's best is yet to come, but he is still playing well enough. Andy in two.

I think the point about no one wanting Andy to peak too early is spot on. That's why I was pleased with how he handled Lu really. He was able to produce the good stuff when he had to, so it shows it is there and will be when he needs it.

Were his first two matches also in Court 2?
