they were saying it's quite windy so come on everyone  pray (or whatever you do) for it to get VERY windy this evening as Tomas doesn't like the wind.  cmon yeah

REALLY? Good Lord. Stars are lining up, folks.

at this rate it might not even start at 7pm though I see normal service has been resumed between Rafa and Ferrer.  Btw didn't like the way Rafa acted as if the serving time limit shouldn't apply to him.

Funny that, I was thinking the same thing Smile. Might be a bit late for me to put in a good word for a gale or a hurricane, but I'll do my best Smile Just a strong breeze would be good, one that whips up on all Berdych's shots. If it could dump half the court into his eyes as well that might help - but Andy needs to make sure he's not wearing a cap - we know how Berdych got his knickers in a twist over the cap Smile.

Ruthie we must be twins! I've just said something similar lol. Rafa's a petulant brat when he isn't getting his own way.

The thing that occurs to me is this enforcement of the time rule has apparently been driven by Federer. I wonder, could he have done it to get under Nadal's skin? If he has I have to admit that it's been fairly effective!

This is highly unlikely to kick off at 7pm GMT guys. 8pm is a more realistic time and that's if Nishikori - Andujar isn't a long 3 setter

You are going to stay up all night if it comes to that. That's the least you can do. Come on.

A long match here is good for Andy, the later it starts the better.

Berdych relies on his serve a great deal as it allows him to dictate his points. So if it's windy then it's all good; plus, Andy's a great returner so that will put extra pressure on his serve. Andy will have to try his best and avoid 2nd serve if he can. And, of course, not let Berdy dictate the rallies and take him out of  his comfort zone by slowing down the pace whenever he can. Andy knows what to do of course; just executing the plan perfectly well is a tough deal, especially on a surface that's not his best.
