Madrid R3: Andy Murray vs Gilles Simon

Reply

I'm speechless.... He's done it again. What a shame for Gilles, a great sportsman .

Words fail me but I love him, for all the pain and sleepless nights.

Thanks for all the encouragement and other comments he brings out in us all. Smile

phew!

All those who were worried that Andy didn't have enough match practice will be pleased to see him doing his best to get as much match practice in within as few matches as possible.  Very efficient our boy. Whistle

I stayed fairly confident that Andy would win - at least after he broke back in the second set.  But that doesn't mean I've not been  nervous at the same time.  I have a lot of conversations with myself at times like this.  I quite often chat to Andy too - I hope he appreciates it.  hug

I doubt it.  And this is what annoys me so much.  Such disrespect for others.

Now that he has this ugly game behind him maybe his next will be brilliant.

Andy can make things so hard for himself. Had he kept that lead on in the 3rd, he would have been out of the court half an hour ago and now too much energy has been spent with two tough matches. But this was unnecessary. Anyway, a win's a win.
