They are thinking that Lendl said he'd like to come, and he's more likely to come to an afternoon match.

The schedulers also have to think about the timing of yesterdays's matches - Kei had a long three setter against Ferrer and Federer played later than both Andy and Novak so to put the fEd/Nishi match later is only fair.  They probably also have a lot of pressure from TV schedulers in the UK and Serbia.

Thanks Gnome for the interview, I watched the end of the match this morning while getting ready for work and thought there might be an interview I could get on my phone, but no, so glad you all are so on the ball.

thanks Elena only just read this.   I like the way he's assessing his own play and in particular that he's pleased with the fact he was coming forward more.  Have commented on the female coach point elsewhere.  But i also note that he said he was down when he arrived in Miami - it feels like he's more willing to open up about himself than he used to be.  Perhaps that's partly greater confidence and partly because on the whole he's getting a more sympathetic press these days.

I'm not that surprised Andy was down when he got to Miami. The split with Lendl had just happened and people were queuing to write Andy off, so I'm sure he had a tough few days. To be honest if Andy was a bit low it makes how he played in Miami, for the most part, even more impressive.
