Murray's backhand used to be so flat. Now it just loops up to his opponent.

I know. It's very disappointing these days.

Your goals minus your doubts equal your reality

I do wish the Scots wouldn't make themselves look stupid in those Jimmy hats.
Ditto Aileen, I hate those with a vengeance .

I always follow the stats on Live Updates if I can, and almost always, Andy's stats improve through the first set and from first to second etc.

I sometimes see people saying that Andy's first serves are xx% and need to be higher, but normally by then they are much higher.  It's also why I much prefer the Live Scores to some other statistics software as it splits the stats set by set.   Normally you get to see Andy progressing, which is always reassuring.
I'll check that out Sparkle. Thanks.

The fact Murray can play poor and still get the job done makes me excited for when he plays his best level!
I'm just wondering when he is going to play at his best level, it's been a while. Not since the 2nd set of the AO final, although Tuesday was a definite step up. Will need it tomorrow for sure, if he gets through this one.

I'm sure the flat backhand will return in grass court season, Murray can't seem to get his best game together on sticky slow hard courts.

Yeah I'm wondering as well. He seems to  get things together come grass season, no matter how poor his season has been before then.

Having fun is stupid now is it?  That's the logic of a great mind. confused
Maybe I just get a bit over-sensitive where my compatriots are concerned.
