Apparently the odds on Tipsy winning shortened just b4 the match and he suddenly became favourite to win. They obviously knew Andy was sick.

The match never seemed unwinnable though did it? i was a bit surprised how quickly some of you gave up on it.
Anyway well done Andy, and good luck with the next one.
Well I have to admit I had sort of given up Elena when he was broken in 2nd set given he clearly wasn't well and thus seemed very flat.  I came close to going to bed and putting it on record just in case as I was exhausted anyway.  But glad I stuck with it.   But do find it tends to be better for the sanity to keep off MW during a match such as this as it can bring out the worst in people.

I got home fixed my dinner and sat down to watch the dvr'd match only to see that my daughter did the wrong match grrrr so fortunately I saw that the quarter finals were going to be on again at 11 pm, so stayed up to make sure it was the right match and once again put on the dvr. Now to play catch up before tomorrows match.
